Only eight matches
remaining to be played in the 2020-21 Premier League season. While Manchester
City appear to be running away with the title race, there is still plenty at
stake this season with a handful of teams battling for a top-four spot and UEFA
Champions League qualification.
Manchester United,
Leicester City, Chelsea, West Ham, Everton, Liverpool and Tottenham all have
their eyes on a top-four spot and every game for the rest of the season will
impact the race.
Manchester United
secured another valuable three points on Sunday, coming from behind to get a
win against Brighton at Old Trafford and taking advantage of a weekend when
their rivals dropped points.
On Saturday,
Leicester City and Chelsea both suffered defeats, while Jose Mourinho’s
Tottenham held to a draw against relegation-threatened Newcastle United on
sunday.
Liverpool on the
other hand defeated Arsenal 3-0 to close down their gap in 4th place.
