Chelsea versus Real Madrid continues to stay in the media
every now and then as the day for the encounter draws near. In the Match versus
West Ham, we saw a resolute Chelsea who stood their grand to go top of West Ham
on three points difference and a “rejuvenated” Timo Werner who showed he’s
still in the game by scoring the all important goal to help Chelsea climb above
West Ham.
Timo Werner scored in the 43rd minute to send what was like a
message to Zinedine Zindane that he his totally no “flop”as he has been
labelled. The goal puts an end to the attacker’s goal drought since he last
scored in February.
The German has really had a
torrid time this season scoring just his 6th goal in the premier league this
season in as many as 31 appearances.
The goal came just at a point Werner needs his mojo and he must
be very happy to have scored. Therefore, Zinedine Zindane and his Real Madrid
Back line must be weary of Werner’s threat.
