Spain’s top flight when they continue their domestic campaign at home to
high-flying Real Betis on Saturday night. Los Blancos, who are currently top of
the La Liga table, will enter the match off the back of a 3-0 victory at Cadiz,
while Betis occupy fifth position, level on points with sixth-placed
Villarreal.
Real Madrid are not giving up their Spanish championship without
a fight. With six matches remaining this season, Los Blancos are three points
behind city rivals Atletico Madrid who, at one point, seemed to have an
unassailable lead. Picking up five wins from their last six La Liga games means
Zidane’s side are riding on a wave of momentum and being unbeaten in 12 matches
(nine wins and three draws) suggests they’re going to push Los Rojiblancos down
to the wire.
