The Super League clubs have decided to transfer their Champions League trophies over to the Super League. Real Madrid will start with 13 Super League championships. Arsenal and Tottenham will start on 0.
As for referees in the ESL, the options are to hire retired referees while training young referees or hire current referees with unrejectable offers to join the Superleague. As in American sports, they want to put a microphone on them to explain their decisions to the public in a totally transparent way. And there would be an alternative VAR.
There
will be a salary cap in the Super League. Clubs can only spend 55% of their
revenue on salaries. Referees will be equipped with a body microphone to
explain all of their decisions to the fans in a loud manner.
