Chelsea are reportedly open to a swap deal this summer.
Chelsea are reportedly open to letting five of their players
leave the club this summer and would even be interested in including them in
part of a swap deal. Thomas Tuchel will be looking to have a clear out at
Stamford Bridge so he can bring in some of his own men.

Frank Lampard spent over £200million last summer
and the Blues are flooded with talent.
However,
for Tuchel to stamp his mark on the team he must free some funds for his own
targets.
A
defender is thought to be high on the German’s wishlist and David Alaba, who is
set to leave Bayern Munich, was under consideration.
Spanish
publication AS claim Alaba’s agent’s demands did not coincide with Chelsea so
no deal will be done there.
However,
Chelsea have other options on the table – one being Sevilla’s highly-rated
centre-back Jules Kounde.
The
22-year-old has a £68m release clause which could put off potential suitors.
Chelsea
could try and negotiate a lower fee as Sevilla would not want to stand in their
players way if he wants to leave.
AS
claim add that Tuchel would also be keen to some of his stars in a swap deal
for the Frenchman.
Most
surprisingly of all, Hakim Ziyech, who joined from Ajax last year, has been
mentioned as a possible makeweight.

As has goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who has failed to make the grade as
Stamford Bridge after making the world record move from Athletic Bilbao for
£71m in 2018.

return to his homeland.
Another
option mentioned is Tammy Abraham, who has found minutes hard to come by
following Tuchel’s arrival.

Werner and Olivier Giroud are ahead of the England internationa;, and Chelsea
want to but another forward this summer.
