Harder alongside Fran Kirby Sam Kerr both scored as Chelsea Women
beat Wolfsburg 3-0 away from home in the second leg of their UEFA Champions
League encounter to finish 5-1 on aggregate.

Despite having the advantage the
Blues women were unstoppable in the first half of the encounter which they
dominated and scored twice against a side that looked very good.
Wolfsburg had things under
control in the early stages as they pushed forward hoping to get an early lead
in the game after losing the first leg encounter away from home.
It was Chelsea who took the lead
in the 27th minute of the encounter as Pernille Harder stepped
up again and scored against her former team to make it 1-0 after scoring in the
first leg.
Sam Kerr also added a second goal in the 32nd minute after a
lovely buildup play saw the Australian International converted neatly to make
it 2-0 for the London club.
The first half of the encounter
came to an end with the away side cruising with a 2-0 advantage as they both
headed for the break after enjoying an amazing first 45 minutes.
Second Half Report Wolfsburg 0-1 Chelsea Women
The second half of the encounter
didn’t start brightly as expected with the pace slowing down while the away
side was less serious in going forward in the game.
Chelsea had things going their
way as they sit back and pass the ball around making sure they kill time with
the advantage already going their way in the encounter.
Fran Kirby increased the lead
after scoring an amazing goal which came in the 81st minutes of the encounter
to make it 3-0, with Emma Hayes’s side looking unstoppable against Wolfsburg.
The game progressed without
anything coming out except wasted opportunities as the Blues claimed a 3-0
victory to advance into the semi final with aggregate 5-1.
