CHELSEA and AC Milan have reportedly reached an agreement in principle to seal a deal for a world-class striker this summer.
The playing
pattern of Thomas Tuchel has seen some player having limited playing time since
his arrival. Even though Tuchel gave everyone a fresh start when he arrived,
player like Olivier Giroud have not been playing much lately.
Giroud was
instrumental in Frank Lampard’s brief success at Chelsea before he was sacked
but right now, he has seen few minutes. With less than one year left in his
contract, the France international is looking to leave the club this summer.
Inter Milan
were reportedly after his signature but it seems AC Milan are ahead to get his
signature. According to the reliable @86_longo via foot accumulator, “Milan have reached an agreement in principle with Olivier Giroud
for a two-year contract.”
Signing Giroud
will be a good signing for the Rossoneri after they qualified for the UEFA
Champions League. It will give them kore attacking options with many games to
play.
