Thomas Tuchel is set to head into his first full window as Chelsea head coach after his successful performance to the club since he was appointed to replace outgoing Frank Lampard. Due to this case, Chelsea club director Marina Granovskaia has vowed to sign two big names to strengthen the current squard.
She says that the club must be in a position to sell 13
players to raise the transfer fee for the two big names. Recently, the German
coach revealed two key areas he could like to strengthen in his squard next
season. He identified the areas as one center back defender and a central
striker.
On this matter, Tuchel has identified Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland and former Manchester United striker Romero Lukaku for the striking position. On the defensive area, he has identified Bayern Munich center-back Nicklas Sule who has only started 15 Bundesliga matches this summer.
However, Chelsea will face competition for the signature of
Erling Haaland from Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid among
others who are interested for the 20-year-old Norwegian star signature. Erling
Haaland will replace Oliver Giroud who will be out of contract at the end of these summers. Tammy Abraham has failed to impress the German coach in this key
area. Tammy Abraham could be sold in the next transfer market with a transfer
fee of around £40 million.
Apart
from Oliver Giroud and Tammy Abraham, the eleven other players who could leave
Stamford Bridge includes Fikayo Tomori who may complete his permanent move to
AC Milan with a transfer fee of around £ 25 million. Academy graduate Ugbo who
could join Fulham or Watford.
Apart from Tiemoue Bakayoko and Baba Rahman could also be sold to PAOK and Napoli
respectively. Michy Batshuayi and Ross Barkley who are currently on loan at
Crystal palace and Aston Villa respectively have no futures at Stamford Bridge.
Other
players who will be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge includes Matt Miazga,
Victor Moses, Kennedy, Danny Drinkwater and Davide Zappacosta make up the
thirteen players who can move on to other clubs to save their careers and seek
for regular playing time elsewhere.
