Chelsea welcome Leicester City as heat intensifies for a top 4 finish
Chelsea are
back in action against same side they recently lost the FA Cup to on Saturday.
The
disappointing loss could now serve as a make weight for Blues to bounce back to
winning ways as it was their first consecutive defeats under Tuchel after
losing to Arsenal prior to the game.
Thomas Tuchel during the FA Cup clash decided
to have Kepa Arrizabalaga in the goal post while Mendy rests.
This although
didn’t turn out well as the Spaniard failed to stop out a Tielemans’ outside 18
strike from rocketing into the net.
It’s
understandable that Mendy would retain his spot for the game today while Mateo
Kovacic returns to the center in quest to boost the tiring side.
Chelsea are
clearly suffering fatigue after a long spell of games since January but Tuchel
believes they can still achieve great things this season.
