Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has given the injury updates and the possible return date ahead of UEFA Champions League final against Manchester City.
Chelsea number one
goalkeeper Edouard Mendy had to be replaced at half-time in the match against
Aston Villa after hurting himself while he tried to save Villa’s first goal.
After the match, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel
provided an injury update on Edouard Mendy’s injury following Chelsea’s 2-1
defeat to Aston Villa.
Thomas
Tuchel said: “He, Edouard Mendy has a big pain in his ribs right now and will
have a scan tomorrow,” the coach said after Chelsea’s defeat Premier league
defeat to Aston Villa.
“We and the medical crew will do
everything possible so that he is in between the posts on Saturday for the UEFA
Champions League final,” Coach Thomas Tuchel added.
