Chelsea set to take on Leicester City for the final stage of the FA Cup campaign
Both
sides will go head to head for the final of the FA Cup as Tuchel eyes
his first Chelsea trophy.
Chelsea
saw off Manchester City to advance into the current stage while Leicester City lived
through Southampton in a 1-0 hard fought victory to get to the finals.
The last
encounter by both sides ended up in favor of the Foxes back in January when
Chelsea was still under the lead of Frank Lampard who was later sacked for a disastrous
spell.
Tuchel
having done an impressive job since inheriting the position is set to finish
off the season in style with his favorite midfielder, Mateo Kovacic back in
training.
The
Croatian missed out three games out of injury but is now back in training.
Kepa was
in between the sticks for the West Londoners as Chelsea lost disappointedly to
Arsenal on Wednesday but Tuchel insisted the match was a warm up for the
Spaniard who will be getting a big chance against Leicester today.
Christian
Pulisic is also likely to start after confirming to ESPN he is fully fit for
the clash despite having appeared to be limping in some way after the Wednesday
game.
