Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has provided an injury updates on his number one goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and his choice midfielder, N’Golo Kante ahead Champions League final clash against Manchester City.
Wednesday
could be a crucial day for Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea, their community, and
everybody involved with it. Because it’s on Wednesday that manager Thomas
Tuchel could likely learn whether he will have his first choice goalkeeper and
his best defensive midfielder available for the UEFA Champions League Final
against Manchester City FC.
Edouard Mendy
and N’Golo Kante will be given chance to pass fitness tests all through the
week until Friday, but if they are in did fit on Wednesday, it will surely give
the team more liberty and looseness in their preparation for Saturday
night. Last week, in the win over Leicester City, the French tented
Midfielder N’Golo Kante seemingly suffered a reoccurrence of the hamstring
injury that has plagued him during the home stretch of the campaign.
However, Thomas Tuchel updated
the Edouard Mendy current situation yesterday, when giving a campaign with
reporters, and he said the outcome of the scan were promising as the “pictures
show it is not too serious.”
In other words, the Senegal international might be good to go,
and he’s more possible than doubtful.
“We hope that Edouard Mendy joins training on Wednesday and as
well joins the squard,” Thomas Tuchel said in full.
“For N’Golo Kantenothing has
changed,” Thomas Tuchel said.
“I think about changing my formation now to end asking about
N’Golo Kante and just put him on the training ground on Wednesday. Don’t ask
him any more if there are any issue, just put him in training, and put him on
the field when the match starts on Saturday.
