Kai Havertz Makes Strong Promise Ahead Of UCL Final Against Man City

The former Bayer Leverkusen man believes his side is in a greater position to win the Saturday final

Chelsea hope to be crowned UCL winner at the night of 29th May after already beating Manchester City on their last two encounters.

The Blues on their way to the final spot saw off Atletico Madrid, Porto and Real Madrid and believe they can materialize another important win when they face City tomorrow.

Kai Havertz played an important role in assuring they make it into the final as he set up the master chip to help Werner head home a crucial opener.

Ahead of the final on Saturday, the 21-year-old promised his side are willing to give all in order to assure they bring home Chelsea’s second UCL trophy.

“It’s about giving your all in the game, having fun, and hopefully winning. Being in the tunnel, walking out, hearing the anthem, and then giving your all for over 90 minutes,” Havertz said.

“It’s a childhood dream which has been reached but not yet fulfilled. We still need to win and we’ll do everything we can to do just that,” he continued.

“We’ve picked up a lot of self-belief over the last few months from our good results and how we’ve played.

“Self-belief is generally very important in football and ours has improved a lot, so it’s made a difference.
