made a forced substitution in the first half of the Chelsea game against
Leicester City on Tuesday evening, resulting from a minor hamstring complaint.
After starting the contest against his former club, the 30-year
old was unable to soldier on and was replaced immediately by Croatian
international, Mateo Kovacic on 32 minutes
Kai Harvertz
Chelsea faces another massive
issue, as summer signing, Kai Harvertz was absent from the matchday squad
because of a minor hamstring problem.
Tuchel, however, has issued an update on the former Bayern
Leverkusen star, confirming that he hoped to have him back available for selection
against Villa, but no guarantee can yet be made
“Hopefully, we will have him back in the squad for Aston Villa
on Sunday, but we are not sure yet”.
