Former Black Stars Skipper, Stephen Appiah names his top five Black Stars Players since 1992 but, the list has received missed reactions after he omitted his successor, Asamoah Gyan
It is not clear why Stephen Appiah excluded Asamoah Gyan
from the list despite his massive Contribution to the Senior National Team, Black Stars for the years becoming the top scorer for the Black Stars
The List include : Stephen Appiah (himself), Abedi
Pele, Tony Yeboah, Michael Essien, Richard Kingston.
Both Asamoah Gyan and Stephen Appiah played together in
several occasions before Asamoah inherited his Captaincy for the Senior
National Team
One thing to be remembered is GHANA’s Painful exit from the
2010 FIFA World Cup after Asamoah Gyan missed glorious opportunity to land
Ghana a Historic appearance at the Semi-final of FIFA World Cup against Uruguay
,It was rumoured that the former Juventus man and Gyan had disagreement
after the penalty miss
