Werner To Lead The Line, Kovacic Returns | 3-4-3 Chelsea Predicted Line-Up Vs Leicester City

Chelsea will face Leicester City at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night, aiming to win their first silverware of the season.

The Blues are coming off a frustrating 1-0 loss to eighth-placed Arsenal, while the Foxes defeated Manchester United 2-1.

Thomas Tuchel will most likely stick with the 3-4-3 formation from the previous game. Timo Werner could get the nod over Kai Havertz, while Mateo Kovacic is likely to return to the starting lineup.

4-3-3 Predicted Chelsea Lineup vs. Leicester City Defense

Kepa Arrizabalaga will start in goal for the upcoming cup match.

“He (Kepa) is starting the cup final, and we thought it would be a smart idea to give him the game beforehand.” – Thomas Tuchel disclosed.

On Saturday, the Spanish goalkeeper will aim to put up a good show and keep a clean sheet.

Thiago Silva is expected to start at the heart of the Blues' defense, while Antonio Rudiger will take the place of Kurt Zouma at left center-back. Cesar Azpilicueta will fill the right center-back spot.

Their main goal, however, would be to keep Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho quiet for the entire 90 minutes.

Mateo Kovacic, the midfielder, is expected to return this weekend.

“We have to delay his personal race; it's on to try to make the Wembley squad,” Tuchel confirmed during his pre-match press conference.

As a result, Kovacic and Jorginho could fill the holding midfield roles, with the former playing a more central role. The duo would like to win the midfield battle.

Ben Chilwell will start at left wing-back, with Reece James filling in on the opposite flank as a right wing-back.

Mason Mount and Hakim Ziyech will play in the attacking midfield positions. The pair will be determined to create clear-cut scoring opportunities for the forwards.

This weekend, Timo Werner will lead the Blues' offensive line. The German international will be hoping to score as he faces a Leicester defense that has only kept one clean sheet in their last five league games.

Kai Havertz may make a brief cameo appearance in the second 45 minutes.
