Chelsea who are set for a major squad overhaul this summer, after deciding to let go some of their players have reportedly been linked with a host of players, with top players among their targets this summer transfer window.
One of the
key positions they want to strengthen is the defensive midfield position, and
are looking for an ideal partner for the star defensive midfielder and France
International Ng’olo Kante.The Blues have been linked with the likes of West
Ham’s Declan Rice as potential signing.
However,
according to reports by The Sun, the blues have found a cheaper alternative to
Rice in Benfica’s defensive midfielder Julian Weigl whose club reportedly want
£30 million for. The Blues are looking for a partner for Ng’olo Kante after
manager Tuchel lost trust in Jorginho and Kovacic was hit by injuries.
Weigl and
