Chelsea have reportedly considered chances of repeating a Thiago Silva scenario
The West Londoners have been linked with many transfer deals and have just turned to completing a sensational deal.
Chelsea have decided to add another experienced defender to their squad after he left his former side.
Sergio Ramos is now a free agent after letting his Real Madrid contract run out despite pleas from Carlos
Ancelotti.
The Spaniard is currently without club and is yet to make a
decision on where to move to but Chelsea have now opened a serious bid for him.
According to sources, Thomas Tuchel views the defender as a plausible option and addition to a defense zone pioneered by Thiago Silva.
Chelsea believe adding more experienced players to their squad will help nurture the youngsters aright.
Just like Silva’s arrival did fine-tune Andrea Christensen, Sergio Ramos coming into the squad is likely to bring more glow to the defense line.
Days back Chelsea confirmed Fikayo Tomori will permanently join AC Milan, creating more rooms in their defense section.
Details of Sergio Ramos’ deal is yet to be revealed but considering his age, Chelsea are known only to be willing to offer a year contract.
What could play a major role is the pay as that was the only
problem Real Madrid had while negotiating his extension.
Chelsea are still in race to land Inter Milan’s wing back,
Achraf Hakimi and has already considered adding either Zappacosta or Marcos
Alonso for the deal.
