As with all clubs, Chelsea will be monitoring a high number of different transfer targets on their shortlist, and they will have a number of options in which way they want to go depending on availability of players, costs, the managers plans, and the board plans.
All these need to sync
together and Chelsea will be working on a number of different targets at the
same time, not investing all their time in just one target at a time.
Jadon Sancho is an
interesting one, with Chelsea links for some time. It is clear that many at
Chelsea would love to see him at the club, and he is an option for them this
summer for sure.
According to Journalist Pedro Almeida,
Chelsea are in ‘advanced contacts’ to sign Sancho from Dortmund this summer,
with an 80 million euro fee being discussed.
In my personal view, I believe Sancho could
be another option for Chelsea if they cannot land their big name strikers this
summer, they could use Sancho as an extra attacker and have Kai Havertz, Timo
Werner, and even Christian Pulisic as the 9s, with a chance of seeing youngster
Armando Broja come in as a backup option as well.
