Mason Mount displayed same celebration as the Chelsea Legend did in 2012 during Blues UCL Celebration on Saturday
Mason Mount just
as expected did caught the attention of Didier Drogba when
he copied the Ivorian’s celebration style on Saturday.
The
22-year-old saw no better way to celebrate Chelsea’s successful season other
than running on the pitch while holding out the UCL trophy inform of a
steering.
Similar
thing former Chelsea striker,
Didier Drogba did when Chelsea beat Bayern Munich at
Allianz Arena back in 2012 to win their first ever UEFA Champions League trophy.
As it’s
already said by many, events that had happened in 2012 repeated itself in 2021
and this very one acts to the count.
Di Mateo
taking over halfway from Andre Villas-Boas after a spell of a disastrous run
while Tuchel took
over from Frank Lampard halfway
also and both guided Chelsea to UCL victory in 2012 and 2021 respectively.
In both
years, Chelsea captains have been 31-years of age, (John Terry [2012] and Cesar
Azpilicueta who is currently 31[2021]) and many other occurrences had repeated
itself.
Drogba
couldn’t hold back his words while still in celebration of his former side
winning the UCL for the second time.
“Maaan!!!!! Which gear were you on ” the
43-year-old wrote on his twitter page as he retwitted a collage of his
celebration and Mason Mount’s that was posted by the young midfielder.
