Chelsea will clearly be on the hunt for a new striker this summer as last summer signing Timo Werner have failed to live up to expectations at the bridge so far.
Eiling Halaand, Harry Kane, Robert Lewandowski and Romelu
Lukaku are the top transfer targets for the blues, but with recent confirmation
that Lukaku will be staying at the San Siro next season it most certainly seem
the blues will turn their attention elsewhere.
Reports coming out from the Evening Standard have stated
that Chelsea are now in contact with Harry Kane’s representative, as the
striker also stated his admiration for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.
In recent interview with Gary Nevile on the Overlap Extra
Channel, Kane said; “I love Mason as a player.”
If Kane joins Chelsea before the summer transfer window
shuts, it could also help his career in the sense that he stands a chance of
winning the UEFA super cup and the club world cup in just five months as a
blue.
