Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia has a plan in place to sign Erling Haaland and the Norway sensation is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge, according to reports.

incident baffles Guardiola
Erling
Haaland is reportedly interested in a move to Chelsea this
summer. Chelsea are in the market for a striker following their Champions
League success last month. Haaland is wanted by a host of top clubs in Europe
following his stunning first full season at Borussia Dortmund.
Haaland scored 41 goals in
as many games for Dortmund last term.
But Dortmund are standing
firm in their stance that the 20-year-old is not for sale this summer.
However, that has not put off Chelsea’s
attempts to sign him yet.
The Telegraph claims Haaland would be open to a move to Stamford
Bridge if the Blues can broker a deal with Dortmund.
The report says Haaland would also be prepared to wait until next
summer before leaving the Bundesliga club.
Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia is exploring the option of
signing Haaland when his release clause becomes active at the end of next
season if they cannot secure him this summer.
Haaland could cost over £150million in the upcoming window.
However he could be available for between £65m and £86m in 2022
when his clause becomes active, which would allow more clubs to enter the race
to sign him.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are the only three
clubs who could afford to sign Haaland this summer.
Real Madrid are also keen but would not be able to do a deal until
the release clause is live.
The Telegraph claims Chelsea are therefore looking at the
possibility of jumping to the front of the queue and setting up a deal to agree
to sign the forward at the end of next season.
It is not yet known if Chelsea would be Haaland’s preferred
destination if United, City and Real all made approaches to Dortmund.
Yet a move to west London is said to be appealing for the former
Red Bull Salzburg star.
Chelsea have looked into the possibility of using Tammy Abraham in
part-exchange in a deal to sign Haaland.
Abraham fell out of favour under Thomas Tuchel in the second half
of last season.
Chelsea also remain interested in Inter Milan star Romelu Lukaku,
despite the Belgian’s public stance that he is happy at the Serie A champions.
Tottenham striker Harry Kane has also been linked with a move to
their London rivals.
However, if Kane ends up at either City or United then Chelsea
could have an easier run at Haaland.
