BREAKING: Chelsea forward refused to return to training at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is set to be very busy in the European transfer window this summer. The 47-year-old reportedly wants to sign at least three players this summer. It is believed that Erling Haaland is Tuchel’s major transfer target this month.

However, reports emerging from Brazil suggest that Chelsea forward Kennedy has refused to return to training at Stamford Bridge this month. It is said that he wants his future to be decided before he resumes training.

The Brazilian forward was regarded as one of the most promising young players in Europe when he joined Chelsea a few years ago. However, he has failed to perform well during his time at Stamford Bridge. He spent the whole of last season on loan at Granada. It is said that officials at the Spanish club are interested in signing him on a permanent deal this summer.

Kennedy has been in tremendous form since he joined Granada in 2020. The 25-year-old scored four goals for the club last season. According to various sources in the British media, Thomas Tuchel could give him a second chance to shine at Stamford Bridge next season.

Tuchel is also said to be monitoring the situation of Dortmund striker Erling Haaland. The 20-year-old will cost Chelsea about £150 million this summer.
