Chelsea finally managed to iron out an agreement to reunite with their former striker but it appears Inter Milan fans are unhappy with the deal
Inter Milan
fans have moved towards blocking Romelu Lukaku’s departure after news of
Inter’s agreement with Chelsea broke out.
The Blues were
reported lately yesterday to submitted another offer after their €100m plus
Alonso was turned turned.
Inter Milan in turn did agree to let Lukaku make the trip
after a deal around €130m was received from the West Londoners.
But Inter Milan will now have to choose between keeping
Lukaku who has over time promised to stay or displease the fans by cashing out
on the ace scorer.
Inter Milan are known to be in a financial crises at the moment and that played a key role in the departure of their former manager, Antonio Conte.
Chelsea on the other hand did back off from their chase to land Haaland to push for Lukaku who was always considered alternative should the plan to land Haaland fail.
Although they were yet to submit any deal for Haaland but Dortmund’s determination to keep the Norwegian chased them off.
Lukaku’s deal with Blues will have him earn around 200k
weekly if he finally makes the switch.
