Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel has just convinced the Blues board into splashing €115million to sign Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan, meaning the club will need to offload a number of players in order to get some of the cash back.
And that means players like Kenedy, who hasn’t really been able to
make any impact at the club since his move to Stamford Bridge, is all set to move
back to Brazilian football.
Kenedy seems
to be out of favour at Chelsea and the attacker has held talks with Brazilian
side Flamengo over a possible move, and according to the Daily Mail, Chelsea
have agreed a loan move with the option of a permanent deal.
The deal is
set to have an option to make it permanent for £8million, with
announcement imminent.
The 25-year old is in his final stages of his Chelsea contract and has no hope
of breaking into the first-team due to the Blues huge squad depth in the
attacking department.
Kenedy spent
last season on loan at Granada, making 44 appearances and netting 8 goals.
Kenedy was
signed by Chelsea as a big future player, but a number of loans and lack of
opportunities at Stamford Bridge has meant that his career in England hasn’t
been the success he wished for.
