Chelsea playmaker, Mason Mount is likely to miss upcoming international duty with England, with the Englishman yet to join up with the England squad ahead of World Cup qualifiers match against Albania and San Marino.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder, who underwent surgery
on infected wisdom teeth, has been missed Chelsea’s last two games before made
returned to action in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Burnley.
But despite managed to play the final
ten minutes of the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge last weekend, Mount still
struggled to fit for upcoming international duty and is likely to miss the
match.
The Blues star has been called up to the England squad by
Gareth Southgate for the Three Lions’ upcoming fixtures, but was not reporting
to St George’s Park today for preparations for World Cup qualifiers match
against Albania and San Marino.
The Englishman has been reportedly having undergone surgery
on his teeth and will be monitored in the days ahead
