Struggling Juventus footballer Adrien Rabiot has emerged as a transfer target for the London giants ahead of the winter transfer window. France international is currently in his third full campaign with the Bianconeri after joining them in the summer of 2019 on a free transfer from PSG.
However, Rabiot has been unable to get going in Juventus,
struggling to make the kind of impact that had teams all across queuing up to
sign him not so long ago. Adrien has managed six goals and five assists from
his 95 games for the Old Lady to date.
While the 26-year-old midfielder has
started eight Serie A matches this campaign, coach Massimiliano Allegri has
been critical of the footballer on more than one occasion. Allegri has also
been demanding more offensive output from the French midfielder, which has not
been forthcoming.
With the situation not improving, Bianconeri are seriously
considering the prospect of offloading Juventus, even though the footballer
recently insisted that he would be remaining in Turin.
There has been no shortage of suitors for the Frenchman, with
Newcastle United and Real Madrid showing great keenness to sign him up, while
there have been reports of Arsenal wanting to land Rabiot as well.
However, the report states that the Blues are eyeing Adrien
as a potential replacement for Saul Niguez, who has struggled at Chelsea. It is
noted that Adrien could return to Atletico Madrid, even though such claims have
been refuted by other media outlets in the recent past.
