Mason Mount has been compared to Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne by former Chelsea midfielder Glenn Hoddle.
Mount and Phil Foden are great midfielders, but they aren’t
the classic No. 10s, according to Hoddle.
He compared the duo to City’s De
Bruyne, but noted that they can help the team’s defense.
He told BBC Sport, “They will work hard and execute their
defensive duties as well.
“The hardest thing on a football ground
is to do what De Bruyne, [Jack] Grealish, Foden, or Mount can do, which is to
constantly create.
“Goalscoring is difficult as well, of course, but as a
number 10, you must now score as well as make goals.”
They are constantly under pressure to deliver something that
would change the game
