Again Chelsea star player has been given the man of the match award as the log leader could not find a winning goal against Burnley.
Burnley drew 1-1 against
Premier League leaders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge as Matej Vydra halted
Chelsea’s charge and ended the Blues’ seven-game winning streak.
Despite a surprising point away
in London, the Clarets continue to improve their form but remain in the
relegation zone.
Early on, Sean Dyche’s side
looked to be roughing up their opponents, with Kai Havertz being sent into the
crowd in a nasty looking tumble.
However, after being picked out
by Reece James, the attacker emerged from the front row and immediately
punished Burnley, turning in a header all alone in the area.
The floodgates were expected to
open for a Chelsea team in excellent form, but Burnley hung on until 11 minutes
before equalising, Chelsea’s defense was caught off guard as Jay Rodriguez
played a simple ball over the top to Vydra, who tapped in the equaliser with
ease.
But one man was outstanding
today despite the draw, England & Chelsea defender, Reece James was named
the man of the match for his brillant performance against Burnley.
The 22
years old Englishman provided the assist for Kai Havertz’s opener
