Chelsea sold Eden Hazard to Real Madrid in the summer of 2019, as the Blues received £88m for the transfer.
A clause was
inserted into the deal that included an extra cash payment if Real Madrid win
the Champions League with Hazard at the club.
Following the initially agreed £88 million cash payment for Hazard, Madrid winning the Champions League could take the price to a whopping £130m.
Indeed this would be easy money for Chelsea, as Hazard’s last appearance for the Los Blancos came on February 19 against Alaves, with only one goal to his name this term, coming in a Copa del Rey tie at Elche.
Hazard has had an injury
filled season coupled with a lack of form, and has made just 22 appearances in
all competitions this season for Real Madrid, with three of them in the
Champions League, so he would be eligible to receive a winners medal, should
Real Madrid beat Liverpool on May 28.
