Real Madrid have book their place in the UEFA Champions League final with Liverpool after seeing off Manchester City at Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday evening.
The Spanish capital club appeared to be eliminated by City
following Riyad Mahrez fired the visitor ahead but Los Blanco netted two
fantastic goal in the injury time through Brazilian starlet Rodrygo.
After the first 45 opening minute ended goalless, Riyad
Mahrez fired Pep Guardiola’s men ahead of the host with a stunning strike.
However, Rodrygo who has been in excellent form in recent
months, put Real Madrid back on track with a lovely goal in the 90th minutes of
the game.
The Brazilian netted the second goal two minutes later to
send the game into extra-time before Karim Benzema scored from spot-kick to
secure final stages clash with Liverpool for Real Madrid.
