CHELSEA will be one of the busiest clubs during the summer transfer window as they will be filling the vacuum created by players who will be leaving Stamford Bridge.
Todd Boehly wants to fulfill the promise of making Chelsea to
compete in all tournaments next season. The summer transfer window is
scheduled to open next week, hence several moves are expected in and out of
Stamford Bridge.
The blues have completed their first signing under the Todd Boehly
consortium, after pulling a shocking deal to sign 26 years old Canadian
defender. Kadeisha Buchanan will join Chelsea women after leaving Lyon this
summer.
The talented defender was named Canadian woman footballer of the year, after her European triumph over Barcelona in the Women's Champions League win. He will join fellow countrymate, Jessie Fleming, at Chelsea with Medicals and take place tomorrow.
Buchanan has agreed
to sign five years deal at Kingsmeadow, that will keep her at the London club
until 2027, with a possibility of extending the deal. Emma Hayes is
strengthening her squad after the departure of Ji So-Yun.
