American rapper Nicki Minaj has broken the hearts of her fans after retracting a statement she made about a second pregnancy.
The
rapper claims that none of her statements was intended, but she has been
overwhelmed by her fans’ responses.
After
misleading her loyal fans about a possible second pregnancy, Nicki Minaj has
come clean. The verdict is — she is not pregnant.
It
all started at Nicki’s London’s Wireless Festival stage performance after she
went Live on Instagram for a little pre-show chat with the Barbz.
When
one of them asked if she and Kenneth Petty were expecting their 2nd baby, she
immediately responded, “I’m not fat, guys, I’m pregnant. Sorry.”
Next,
she rolled her eyes.
In
a matter of seconds, her screen was immediately flooded with congratulations
and that’s when Nicki realized she screwed up.
“Oh
wait. Did I say it wrong? I’m sorry. I think I said it wrong. I meant to say,
I’m not pregnant. I’m fat.”
She
quickly apologised to halt the chaos that had started building on her page.
Nicki
and her husband, Kenneth Petty, had their first kid, a baby
boy, back in September 2020.
Kenneth,
on the other hand, has been sentenced to one year of home detention.
He was handed the sentence for failing to register as a sex offender when he relocated to California with Nicki.
