Black Sherif dominated the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, walking away with five awards on the night including the prestigious artist of the year award.
Black
Sherif beat Piesie Esther to the ultimate award – whilst also winning Most
Popular Song of the Year, Hiphop Song of the Year (both with Kwaku
the Traveller), and Video of the Year with Konongo
Zongo.
Sherif
also was part of the Collaboration of the Year award with Sarkodie, which they won
for their single Country Side.
The
awards show also saw performances from Sarkodie, Black Sherif, Piesie Esther,
Ofori Amponsah, King Promise and Kwabena Kwabena.
