According to Metro, Chelsea transfer target and Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana prefers to join Manchester United over Chelsea.
Chelsea and Manchester United are both in the
market for a goalkeeper this summer and have been linked with a move for the
Cameroonian goalkeeper.
Onana
joined Inter on a free transfer from Ajax last summer and it’s understood that
the Champions League finalists value the 27-year-old at £50 million.
According
to Daily Mail, Premier League rivals Manchester United have joined Chelsea in
the race to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
The
Cameroon international was an important player at the San Siro last season,
playing 41 games across all competitions as Inter finished third in Serie A,
won the Coppa Italia and reached the Champions League final.
Chelsea
manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen on signing a goalkeeper this summer to
replace Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy while Manchester United manager
Erik ten Hag wants to sign Onana as a a ‘challenger to David de Gea.’
