Award-winning Ghanaian singer, Wendy Shay has made her first post on social media days after news of her near fatal accident.
The “Uber Driver” hitmaker shared a snippet of a new song she recorded right before the accident.
The lyrics of the song encourage people to check up on their
friends in times of need and to be there for each other while they’re still
alive.
“I recorded this song
on 7.09.2023 and had an accident on 10.09.2023. The lyrics in this song are making
sense to me now…Some people will only love you when you are dead…I am Alive by
the Grace of God,” Wendy Shay captioned the video.
She also thanked
everyone and named the few celebrities who were there for her during the
difficult time.
“Thanks to GOD, my
family, my team, and my Fans for their support and prayers.
Ghana please say a big Thank you to these celebs
who showed me love when I needed it most,” she added.
