Liverpool will be without one of their defensive stars when they host Everton on Saturday.
Liverpool will be without Andy
Robertson for this weekend's Merseyside
derby against Everton.
The left-back suffered a shoulder injury while on
international duty with Scotland and Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Robertson
will undergo surgery, potentially ruling him out for three months.
Kostas Tsimikas is therefore set for an
extended run in the side, starting on Saturday when Everton make the short trip
to Anfield.
Diogo Jota is available again to Jurgen
Klopp after suspension, but Curtis Jones remains out as he
serves the second game of his three-match ban for the red card picked up
against Tottenham.
There were question marks over Cody
Gakpo's fitness, as he recovers from the knee injury that has kept him on the
sidelines since that Tottenham match, but he was pictured in first-team
training on Thursday and is in contention to be involved.
The derby comes too soon though for
Thiago and Stefan Bajcetic, despite Klopp's hope that the pair would be
available straight after the international break.
After starring for Uruguay in their win
over Brazil on Wednesday, Darwin Nunez revealed he had been battling cramp by
the end of the match and with a long journey back to Liverpool, Klopp could opt
to start the striker on the bench.
Mohamed Salah will once again be the main up front - he has scored or assisted in seven of Liverpool's eight Premier League matches so far this season.

Dijk, Tsimikas; Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Gravenberch; Diaz, Jota, Salah
