Ghanaian rapper Amerado has questioned why his hit song Kwaku Ananse was not nominated for a Telecel Ghana Music Award.
In a tweet on X, Amerado expressed his inability to
understand why his song, while being a hit in its original version, was not
given any consideration for any category.
He said, “Dear @GHMusicAwards, Why was Kwaku Ananse
(original) not nominated?”
Amerado,
meanwhile, received two nominations for Best Rap Performance for “The Hardest”
and “Kwaku Ananse Remix,” featuring Fameye, at the just concluded 2024 awards
ceremony.
