Michael Essien reveals his African team of the decade

Ghana star Michael Essien has reveals his African team of the decade which features a host of high profile names.
The Chelsea legend included himself alongside former teammate Didier Drogba as well as former Cameroon star Samuel Eto’o.
The 37-year-old also included Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane who impressed with the Reds in recent years as they helped them lift the Champions League and UEFA Super Cup.
The biggest surprise is the fact that no other Ghanaian made the list despite playing alongside some of the greatest players in the history of the West African Nation this decade. There was no room for Stephen Appiah, Sulley Muntari or Asamoah Gyan.
Here is the full XI below:
Goalkeeper: Vincent Enyeama.
Defenders: Kolo Toure, Mehdi Benatia, Kalidou Koulibaly, Benoit Assou-Ekotto.
