National U-23 head Coach Ibrahim Tanko has been relieved off his
duties by the Ghana Football Association.
This
come after the Ghana Football Association dissolved all the technical teams of
the various national teams including the U-23 team on Thursday evening.
Ibrahim
Tanko led the Black Meteors to the semi finals of the U23 Africa Cup of Nations
which mean Ghana failed to qualify for the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Tanko
and his assistant Micheal Osei will no longer be in charge of the team after
the FA dissolved the technical team of all the National team.
The
statement read;
The
Ghana Football Association (GFA) has dissolved the technical teams of all
national teams with immediate effect.
The decision affects both male and female national teams.
The
GFA extends its appreciation to all coaches and members of the respective
national teams for their contributions to our teams and Ghana football.
We
wish them all the best in their endeavors.
