Sarkcess Music former signee and instrumentalist, Akwaboah Jnr has vowed to be forward-looking since he left his former record label and would never consider going back to work with them should the opportunity present itself.
Talented singer, songwriter and producer, Akwaboah whose real name
is Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr was signed in 2016 unto Sarkcess Music, a
record label owned by BET Award winner Sarkodie but left in 2019 to start his
own label, Akwaboah Music.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye on GBC Radio Central in Cape Coast, Akwaboah was asked whether he would gladly go back to work with Sarkcess Music in future should the opportunity come again.
He answered “For now I would like to do so many things on my own
rather than going back to be under the Sarkcess Music record label….So it’s forward ever”.
Since Akwaboah left Sarkcess Music with Strongman, many people continue to wonder if they were better off doing things on their own as compared to their prospect when they were under the wings of Sarkodie.
