Despite Media Group’s vibrant employee and ace broadcaster popularly known as Nana Agyei Sikapa whose untimely death took users on the Ghanaian internet community aback – one-week funeral rites celebration is scheduled to come off today.
The
former professional teacher who joined Despite Media Group in 2003 cemented his
relevance in both the analog and digital media space; by adorning his
presentations with peculiar, stupendous and transcendent knowledge in Ghana’s
local culture and the Akan language which forced his listeners to keenly pay
attention to his programs with unmatched euphoria and awe.
Before his shocking demise, Nana Agyei Sikapa was the host of popular local culture based program ( Heritage culture) which is very popular on the YouTube channel.
Nana
was also known for the broadcast of funeral dirge announcements. The one-week
commemoration of the late Nana Adjei Sikapa is slated today; Saturday, 27th
June, 2020 at the Mile 7 Presbyterian Church, Achimota – Accra.
