Dr. Jacob Mahama, has confirmed that, a student of Archbishop Porter Girls SHS has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
According
to Dr. Jacob Mahama, eight students of the Nsei SHS in Axim have also
contracted the disease, while the other three schools have recorded one case
each.
Archbishop Porter Girls SHS is among five secondary schools in the Western region that have been hit by COVID-19. The Western Regional Director of Health stated during a COVID-19 briefing in the region earlier this morning.
