Ghanaian retired hiplife musician, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel has revealed that contrary to people’s belief that she betrayed Ace Broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah, that is not the case.
In an interview with Mona Gucci on the
“Link Up” show, Mzbel said the rift between Nana Aba and her seems to become
from a man, Prince Kofi Amoabeng, co-founder of now collapsed UT Bank.
The ’16-Years’ singer said Nana Aba Anamoah was not her friend when she started her relationship with the former UT Bank boss.
Mzbel, however, explained that the
relationship between Nana Aba and Prince Kofi Amoabeng had ended before she
came into the picture.
“I
didn’t know about Kofi and Nana Aba’s relationship. Nana and Kofi were dating,
she even had a neck chain with Kofi’s name on it. That was around the time UT
Bank was popular.
“Their
relationship ended before I came into the picture. I was never friends with
Nana Aba until I and Kofi started going out and then one time she invited me
to her show. After the show, she pinned me to tell me we had a mutual friend
(Prince Kofi Amoabeng).
“I
think the whole issue became public because we were both public figures. But
whatever the situation, I think she should have been matured about it. You
people were done before I came into the picture,” she told the host.
