Chelsea Boss Tuchel Admits He’s Worry Ahead Of Atletico Madrid Clash

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has come out to admit he’s worry over the absence of Mason Mount and Jorginho as they will be hosting Atletico Madrid in Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night in the return leg of UEFA Champions League round 16 ties.

Tuchel has encouraged his squad to step up and fill in the space of the duo.

Mason Mount and Jorginho will be serving their suspension after securing a 1-0 advantage in the first leg played in Madrid.

Both Mount and Jorginho has been two of Tuchel best players so far, having found the back of the net three times each.

Mount and Jorginho combine has scored six out of 13 goals Chelsea has scored under Thomas Tuchel and this is no doubt their impact will be feel.

The German boss will also be without his former PSG captain Thiago Silva and Tammy Abraham in Wednesday Champions League clash, yet the blues has enough squad to select from and the injuries will not be an issue but the Boss noted that the absence of Jorginho and Mount is of greater concern.

What did Tuchel said when asked if he’s worry over his two key players who will be out of Atletico Clash?

‘Yeah, a little bit, of cource, ‘

Two key players for us. Especially Mason Mount for his offensive skills, his power offensive-wise to break the lines with dribbling and shots.

“They were important players so far and we have a group which we compete with in this competition and so now is the challenge to adapt and find solutions because it’s obvious we need to play without those two guys.

What did Tuchel said about Thiago Silva and Tammy Abraham?

‘We also need to play without Thiago Silva and also without Tammy Abraham.

No more injuries, so we miss four players that make the selection easy.

We have a clear idea of what we are to do and how we would create chances. But we are aware that Atletico Madrid is a team that gives away the fewest chances.

‘it’s very likely we have to be calm and play with intensity at the same time. Keeping this level constantly going is the key for tomorrow's match.
