Italian Giants
want Hazard this Summer
Roma are eyeing a potential
loan deal for Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard – according to Calcio Mercato.
The Italian club are hoping to arrange a reunion between the
Belgian and Jose Mourinho – the former Chelsea boss who will be taking
charge at Stadio Olimpico this summer.
Willian wants
return to Chelsea
Arsenal winger Willian
reportedly wants to rejoin Chelsea less than 12 months after leaving
the Blues. Willian has had a nightmare spell at Arsenal following his free
transfer last summer. The Brazilian did not score for the Gunners until his
37th appearance for the club.
However, Sky Sports now claim the 32-year-old would
prefer to go back to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea is Willian’s preferred
destination if he were to leave Arsenal.
Barca interested in Matthijs de Ligt.
Barcelona were keen on signing Matthijs de Ligt when he left
Ajax in the summer of 2019, but Juventus won the battle for his signature.
But now, two years on, reports in Italy state that the
centre-back is said to be a little frustrated with the Bianconeri, which could
open the door for Barcelona to try and make a move, despite their precarious
financial situation.
Benzema wants to stay at Real Madrid
Karim Benzema has received
recognition for his club form with Real Madrid by being included in France’s
squad for Euro 2020, but some have pondered whether he may be looking to return
to Lyon in the near future.
However, during an interview with L’Equipe, the 33-year-old has
made clear that he has no intention of leaving Real Madrid for the time being.
Pochettino could return to Spurs
Mauricio Pochettino is considering a shock return to Tottenham
Hotspur, where he hopes to also persuade Harry Kane to stay at the club.
The Argentine coach only took charge of Paris Saint-Germain at the start of January 2021 and he was able to guide the team to the semi-finals of the Champions League, although they finished one point behind Ligue 1 winners Lille.
Manchester United keen on Sancho and Grealish
Manchester United have a
long-standing interest in Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, but various
reports in England, including from the Daily Telegraph, note that they are also
keeping tabs on Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish, who Manchester City are
also interested in.
Liverpool close in on Konate
RB Leipzig expect to lose centre-back Ibrahima Konate, who Sky
Sports state is on his way to Liverpool. The 22-year-old has a 35 million euro
release clause.

OFFICIAL: Flick to take charge of Germany
Hansi Flick has put pen to paper on a deal to become Germany’s
new head after the European Championship. The former Bayern Munich boss will
succeed Joachim Low, who will leave once Germany’s participation in Euro 2020
is over. Flick has agreed a deal until after Euro 2024.
OFFICIAL: Osasuna sign Kike
Osasuna have strengthened in attack by agreeing a deal to sign
Kike Garcia, who has a clause in his contract with Eibar that allows him to
leave if they are relegated, which they were. The 31-year-old, who scored 12
goals in LaLiga Santander in the 2020/21 season, has put pen to paper on a
three-year deal.
