Celebration in Stamford Bridge as Chelsea player has made a remarkable comeback from injury that could have ended his career.
The Belgian
winger was told that he might not be able to play football, but against all
odds he is back in training and ready for next season.
Chelsea winger
Charlie Musonda is now back in training at Chelsea training facility Cobham in
London.
The 24- year
old updated fans on his Instagram account that he is back on the field of play
again as he shared with his followers a clip of a one-on-one session at Cobham.
Musonda got a
knee-Injury in 2018-2019 on loan at Vitesse and even as he was making his
comeback he had recurring knee injuries. He then decided to go for surgery on
the knee, where he was told he only has 20 percent chance of playing football
again.
Musonda who
did not want to be put down by the odds, he went to Dubai for rehabilitation
after the surgery and he has now beaten the odds as he is ready to make his
come back after after almost 3 years out.
Musonda almost
had his breakout season under Antonio Conte in the 2017-18 season, but he was
later loaned out in early 2018. Musonda is a very fast attacking midfield who
can also play as a winger.
Musonda is
ready and raring to go for the new season at Chelsea and hopefully he might get
a look-in from Thomas Tuchel.
