It’s the second one won under the ownership of Roman
Abramovich and the Russian billionaire was inside the stadium to watch and
enjoy the celebrations.
Now comes the plans for the summer, and we know Chelsea will push
ahead with some new signings to make them even stronger for next season.
To do this, they may need to raise some funds and sell some
players and The Guardian have named 7 Chelsea players who could leave this
summer.
The most obvious of course is Olivier Giroud, whose contract runs
out at the end of next month with no sign of another renewal.
Kurt Zouma could also be sold this summer being down the pecking
order of center-backs, and Tammy Abraham’s future at the club looks highly in
doubt now after being left out of the Champions League squad altogether on
Saturday night.
As well as the strikers, Chelsea could sell Ross Barkley, Ruben
Loftus-Cheek, Emerson Palmieri, and Fikayo Tomori, with AC Milan looking set to
trigger the option to buy him.
