Tottenham Set Huge Price Tag For Harry Kane As Chelsea, Others Get Updates

Tottenham striker has been linked to a move away from his club as some English Premier League clubs like Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are tipped to sign him.

Fresh details suggest Tottenham have set their asking price for Harry Kane amid links to Man United.

Tottenham could demand a world record transfer fee to sanction an exit for Harry Kane this summer.

Manchester United are one of the clubs that have been heavily linked with Kane since he admitted his future at Tottenham was uncertain, but now fresh details from the Independent suggest Spurs chairman Daniel Levy could ask for £200m to consider a sale.

The article claims numerous sources have indicated Levy is ready to play hardball in any negotiations for the three-time Golden Boot winner, and if any club agrees to buy Kane for that substantial fee, it would just edge the current transfer record of £198m for Neymar.

Despite Edinson Cavani extending his stay at Old Trafford, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has refused to rule out signing a new centre-forward, and earlier reports have claimed United are prepared to sign Kane, but if this valuation is true, it seems likely it could scupper any deal.

However, it’s said that Tottenham are in a delicate position, they’re still paying off a £1.2bn stadium, having also taken out a government loan and it’s reported some financial figures feel they’re the most strapped for cash out of the Super League rebels.

Regarding any potential departures this summer, reports suggest Leicester are interested in Daniel James, with Brendan Rodgers identifying the Welshman as a possible signing, looking to reinforce his side who narrowly missed out on Champions League football.

James has failed to hold a regular position in Solskjaer’s plans since arriving from Swansea for £15m two years ago, although there have been glimpses of quality from the winger, and his excellent assist created United’s opener against Wolves, for example.

The report claims if United can sign Jadon Sancho in the transfer window, the likelihood of James leaving will increase.
