Chelsea Have Already Signed A Youngster Goal Machine To Replace Giroud And Abraham

Chelsea have reportedly hold talks with starlet Armando Broja over a new deal and are weighing up naming him in the Premier League squad for next season, according to reports.

The talented Broja has spent the past campaign on loan at Vitesse Arnhem and caught the eye there, having scored 11 goals in 36 games and helped them to finish fourth in the Eredivisie.

An expected mass clear-out this summer will free up several spots in Thomas Tuchel’s first-team group, and Sky Sports claim Broja has done enough to stake his claim and stay at Chelsea next year.

Chelsea will hold talks with young striker Armando Broja over a new deal, according to reports.

Broja put pen to paper on a professional contract at Stamford Bridge last year and those terms are currently set to run down next summer.

After making his debut in Chelsea’s 4-0 win against Everton in March 2020 under Frank Lampard, Broja has gone from strength to strength.

As a result of his progress, the 19-year-old was even awarded his international debut for Albania last year. He has featured heavily in their squads since.

Broja impressed at Vitesse Arnhem this year and is expected to be in Chelsea’s top-flight ranks

It is said there is interest in Broja from a number of elite clubs in Europe, but Blues boss Tuchel is keen to bring him back and hand him a role in the top-flight.

Sportsmail revealed this week that Tuchel wants to bring in four new signings this summer, and as many as 11 of his fringe players could therefore leave.

Two of the stars on the chopping block are strikers Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham.

Giroud, 34, may move to AC Milan with the Italian club having already made contact with his entourage. The target man does have suitors in the Premier League and France too, but he is keen for a two-year deal.

Thomas Tuchel plans to promote Broja and axe several fringe players in the summer window

Abraham, meanwhile, has a price tag for £40million. A move to Aston Villa collapsed last summer with Chelsea initially reluctant to offload, and West Ham and Wolves are both expected to also join the race this time around.

These departures would open the door for Broja to prove his credentials as one of Chelsea’s hottest properties.

The club want to bring back Romelu Lukaku when the window opens but have been dealt a blow after the ace confirmed he will be staying at Inter Milan.

Lukaku, who played for Chelsea between 2011 and 2014, scored 24 goals in Serie A last season and was integral to Inter winning the title.

Both Chelsea and Manchester City are said to have made advances for him, but Lukaku says he ‘feels good’ at the San Siro and has already held talks with the new boss, Simone Inzaghi.

Tottenham talisman Harry Kane is also a target for Chelsea – but his £150m price tag may prove a stumbling block.
